Agastache scrophulariifolia

Giant purple hyssop sports columns of the palest purple flowers on tall stems. The flowers are full of nectar and open just a few at a time over several weeks, making this plant highly attractive to butterflies and other pollinators. Giant purple hyssop is fast-growing but not an aggressive plant. It can fade out in an older planting without open ground for its seeds. This makes it a nice companion to plants that are slow to establish.
